These Terms apply equally to all users, whether you are seeking to book a tour (a "User") or offering tours as a guide (a "Guide"). Also, we do not currently process payments on our site. Any payment or financial transaction related to a tour is handled directly between you and the tour provider.

Eligibility

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old. By using the site, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we learn that someone under 18 is using the site, we will terminate that access immediately.

  • Service Description: We provide information about food tours and local guides. All tours are offered by independent guides or tour operators, not by Balkan Food Tours itself. We do not design or conduct tours.
  • Booking Process: When you request a booking, we forward your information to the guide. You should confirm all tour details (such as date, time, price, itinerary, and meeting place) directly with the guide. Because we do not control the tours, we cannot guarantee availability or specific tour outcomes.
  • Payment: As noted, we do not handle payments. If a tour requires payment, you will pay the tour provider directly (for example, in person or through a separate payment platform). Balkan Food Tours is not involved in payment transactions and is not responsible for payment disputes or refunds.
  • Accuracy of Listings: We strive to keep tour and guide information accurate and up-to-date. However, guides set and control their tour details.
